Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Digital Freight Ltd (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Statement.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner or to third parties.
Your choice
When you first visit our website, a banner asks whether you accept cookies. Nothing that sets cookies is loaded until you choose. If you click Reject, no analytics or third-party cookies are set.
You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is remembered in your browser, so we don’t ask again on every visit.
Cookies we use
With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, such as which pages are visited and how long people stay, so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets these cookies:
- _ga: distinguishes visitors. Expires after 2 years.
- ga[ID]: keeps track of your visit. Expires after 2 years.
These cookies are only set if you click Accept. If you later change your choice to Reject, they are removed. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
We do not use advertising cookies.
Third-party services
Some pages use services provided by other companies. These companies may receive information about your visit, and some may set their own cookies:
- Google Maps (Contact page): the map on our Contact page is provided by Google, which may set cookies when the map loads. The map only loads if you accept cookies or click Show map. See Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses cookies.
- Google Fonts: our text styles are loaded from Google’s font service. Google receives your device’s IP address to deliver the fonts but does not set cookies.
- unpkg: some of the icons on our site are loaded from this content delivery service, which receives your device’s IP address but does not set cookies.
We have no control over cookies set by third parties. Please check their own policies for details.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse all cookies, refuse third-party cookies only, or clear cookies when you close the browser. If you block cookies, the map on our Contact page may not display, but the rest of the site will work normally.
For help with your browser’s settings, visit aboutcookies.org.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add new services to the site. Any changes will be posted on this page.
